        Ensure your Facebook account has the correct permissions to the Page in question. If you only have task access then you\u2019ll need to speak to your administrator or the owner of the Page.<\/p>\n

        This guide applies to New pages. If you\u2019re running a Classic page, scroll to the bottom of this guide to learn how to change your page name.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        The steps above are for changing a New Page name. For a Classic Page, you\u2019ll need to simply open your Facebook Page, scroll down to Edit Page Info in the left panel, enter your new name and hit Request Change.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

        How do I change my business page on Facebook?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

        To change your business page on Facebook you\u2019ll need to either go to Settings via Meta Business Suite or Business settings via Business Manager.\u00a0<\/p>\n

        Next to your Business Manager name, ID and primary Page name, click Edit and update the information accordingly.\u00a0 Business portfolio info, then click Edit (which is next to your current primary Page name).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

        How do I change my Facebook page link?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

        To change your Facebook page link, you\u2019ll need to change your Page\u2019s username, which is different from changing its name. To do this, follow steps one to eight above. Then, click Edit next to Username. Once you\u2019ve chosen a new username, simply click Save Changes. Unlike changing a Page name, you won\u2019t need to wait for Facebook\u2019s approval.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

        Why can\u2019t I change the name on my Facebook page?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

        The reason you can\u2019t change the name on your Facebook page may be because you only have \u201ctask access\u201d and not \u201cFacebook access\u201d to the page.
