If you\u2019ve misplaced your \u2018pods this guide will help you find them again.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apple has included a couple of ways to help you find your AirPods if they go walkabout, so you can soon have them back where they belong: in your ears.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-you-need\">What you need<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An iOS or iPadOS device<\/li>\n<li>A pair of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trustedreviews.com\/reviews\/apple-airpods-pro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AirPods Pro<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trustedreviews.com\/reviews\/apple-airpods-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AirPods<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-short-version\">The Short Version<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Launch the FindMy app on your iThing<\/li>\n<li>Select the Devices tab<\/li>\n<li>Send out an SOS<\/li>\n<li>Listen for the sound<\/li>\n<li>Mark them as lost if all else fails<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section class=\"block video-player\"><\/section>\n<div class=\"schema-how-to wp-block-yoast-how-to-block\">\n<ol class=\"schema-how-to-steps \">\n<li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1649747917982\">\n<div class=\"steps\">\n<h3 class=\"step-name\">Step  1.<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Launch the FindMy app on your iPhone or iPad<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p><img class=\"lazy lazy-hidden\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trustedreviews.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/a3-lazy-load\/assets\/images\/lazy_placeholder.gif\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.trustedreviews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/04\/How-to-find-lost-Apple-AirPods-Step-1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">It doesn\u2019t matter if you\u2019ve lost just one or both of the buds, or the case as well, you\u2019ll need to start by opening the FindMy app. Alternatively, you can also use a web browser by logging into your account on icloud.com, but the following steps are for a mobile device.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1649747936954\">\n<div class=\"steps\">\n<h3 class=\"step-name\">Step  2.<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Select the Devices tab at the bottom<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p><img class=\"lazy lazy-hidden\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trustedreviews.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/a3-lazy-load\/assets\/images\/lazy_placeholder.gif\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.trustedreviews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/04\/How-to-find-lost-Apple-AirPods-Step-2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">This will show all the devices you have registered. Find your AirPods in the list and click through to see their last known position on the map. Scroll down and hit Activate to turn on Lost Mode.
