You\u2019ve bought your shiny new Sky Glass TV<\/a> (or Sky Stream puck), you\u2019re learning how to get to the grips with things and you\u2019ve heard about this Playlist feature and want to know how to favourite the programmes and films you like.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got the skinny on how to do it but to be clear when we talk about \u2018favouriting\u2019 TV series and movies on Sky Glass, we\u2019re talking about adding them to your \u2018Playlist\u2019 rather than adding channels to your favourites\u2019 list, which you can do on Sky Q, Glass, and Stream<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    • Find a TV series or film<\/li>\n
    • Press the red \u2018+\u2019 button on the Sky remote<\/li>\n
    • Go to your Playlist to confirm it\u2019s been added<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Pick a film, TV series or even an actor<\/strong> <\/p>\n

      Peruse Sky\u2019s Entertainment OS interface, or search for an actor\/TV series\/film to find what you\u2019re looking for.\"Sky<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

      Press the \u2018+\u2019 sign button on the remote<\/strong> <\/p>\n

      The \u2018+\u2019 button is the Playlist button. This will add TV series (in its entirety) or a film your Playlist, which is essentially a collection of films and TV that you\u2019ve bookmarked to watch later. The Playlist button doesn\u2019t work inside an app, though. So if you\u2019re watching in the Netflix app, you can\u2019t press the button and add a film to your Playlist. The button only works through Sky\u2019s interface.\"Sky<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

      Check your Playlist<\/strong> <\/p>\n

      Once you\u2019ve added it to your Playlist, a notification will pop up saying that it\u2019s been added to your Playlist (it may also say that it\u2019s been set to record. More on that in the FAQs at the bottom). If you want to make sure, head to your Playlist and the title should be the first one that pops up in the \u2018Recent\u2019 row of content. To remove it from your Playlist, all you need to do is press the \u2018+\u2019 sign again.\"Sky<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

      Can I record TV series and movies on Sky Glass?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

      This is a contentious point of view. Sky claims that its \u2018Playlist\u2019 feature \u2018records\u2019 content via a cloud DVR. We, on the other hand, would not classify that as recording as to record we believe there should be a download via a tuner to a hard drive, which Sky Glass does not do.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
